The administration of Trusts and Estates is an important practice area in this office. We help Trustees of trusts and Personal Representatives of estates fulfill their duties economically. Although Attorney Barreira sometimes serves as Trustee or Personal Representative when requested by a client, we try as much as possible to give guidance to those who are serving in those roles and handle only those matters that require legal help.  There are hidden tax issues in the administration of Trusts and Estates, and his Masters of Laws in Taxation allows Attorney Barreira to give practical guidance on estate tax, gift tax, capital gains tax and income tax issues.
